By Our Correspondent,Pokhara. Mar. 21: Fly Nepal Entertainment has launched 18D Cinema in Pokhara on Friday. This is the first time such a cinema has been introduced in Nepal. Fly Nepal has brought it into operation at Disneyland Lakeside in Pokhara.
Legendary actor Rajesh Hamal formally inaugurated the cinema. He said that Pokhara, as a city of cinema, will now experience a different style of entertainment.
"Pokhara is a beautiful city in itself. Many films are shot here, and it is also considered significant from a film business perspective. This is not just a cinema but a journey into a new world,” he said.
Ram Thapa, head of Fly Nepal Entertainment, said that following its successful operation in Kathmandu, the overwhelming love and positive feedback from audiences led to its expansion to Pokhara.
He added that the technology here is even more advanced than in Kathmandu.
He added that the aim of Fly Nepal is to provide audiences with a new kind of entertainment experience by combining high technology with creative storytelling.
“This cinema has many special features. Audiences can enjoy thrilling films lasting from 10 to 30 minutes. It is suitable for all age groups and offers a direct experience without the need for glasses or headsets,” he said. He also added that the cinema allows the audience to enter 17 different narrative worlds.
Himal Thapa, director of Fly Nepal Entertainment, said that in a city known for adventure activities like Pokhara, the cinematic experience will now become even broader.
“Now, the people of Pokhara can experience adventure not only in the outside world but also within immersive experiences,” he added.
