Vice-President appeals to maintain social harmony

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 6: Vice-President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has appealed to maintain peace, tolerance and social harmony.

Issuing a press statement today, Vice-President Yadav stated that “We are deeply concerned to see some challenges being posed as we have been witnessing misunderstanding, hate and conflict between different communities in different regions of the country."     

The Vice-President has emphasized that all the stakeholder should play responsible role to hold election in a fair, free and impartial environment.

The Vice-President's appeal comes in the context of the imposition of prohibitory order due to fear of communal, religious conflict in Parsa district.
