Election a medium to give outlet to the country: RSP President

blog

Kathmandu, Jan 5: President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane has claimed that the country would get an outlet through elections.

Addressing the RSP's Political Adjustment Declaration Assembly here today, he said all sides should be held responsible for giving outlet to the current stalemate by conducting election on time.

He also warned various elements not to make any ill-attempt to foil the elections while urging all sides to contribute to push the country to the elections.

"No side should engage in the act to create confusion about elections. Election is the medium to give outlet to the country", President Lamichhane said, adding, "Don't obstruct when the country is charting out its golden future".

Entrance of new generation into politics has added positive energy in the country, he said, adding the emergence of Kathmandu Metropolitan City mayor Balendra Shah in politics has increased enthusiasm of youths towards politics.

The country would craft a good history in the sensitive mode of the time, Lamichhane asserted. He said the party would embrace the Tharuhat Tharuwan movement while expressing commitment to take responsibility to their agenda. (RSS)
