By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 5: Travel restriction imposed on CPN (UML) chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been removed.
A meeting of the commission to investigate the
incidents of September 8 and 9 took a decision to this effect today, a day
after leader Oli furnished his replies on the queries of the commission about
his role and actions as the PM during those two days, according to Bigyan Raj Sharma, member and spokesperson of the commission.
Earlier, the commission had restricted Oli from
traveling abroad or leaving the Kathmandu Valley without permission.
A team from the commission on Sunday had reached Oli's residence in Gundu and received a written statements from the former Prime Minister.
