By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 25: The second Nepal-China Pharmaceutical Conference has been successfully concluded.
The program held in Pokhara on October 22 was addressed by Professor Balmukunda Regmi and Professor Lin Guo-qiang.
Attended by 27 scholars from Nepal and China, the scientific session was focused on recent development in drug development, according to the organiser of the conference.
An interaction program was also held in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine. The vice chancellor of Tribhuvan University Professor Deepak Aryal highlighted the potentials of Nepal-China bilateral collaborations.
His views were seconded by the dean of Institute of Medicine Professor Mohan Raj Sharma and academician Professor Lin Guo-qiang of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The convenor of the conference Professor Balmukunda Regmi introduced the program to professors of different specialties, pharmacists, medical students and university employees. Head of Medical Education Department Professor Yogendra Man Shakya conducted the program.
