Girl goes missing after being swept away by river

By Janarjan Khatri, Sarlahi, Oct.17: A girl has gone missing after being swept away by the Manushmara River in Dhankaul, Sarlahi.

Soni Kumari Sah of  Dhankaul Rural Municipality-3 went missing after being swept away by a river.

DSP Niranjan Bhattarai of the Area Police Office, Barahathawa, said that Sah had been missing since Thursday afternoon after being swept away by a river.

The girl had gone to the river to wash her clothes and take a bath.

DSP Bhattarai said that the search for the missing girl, who was swept away by the river, has been ongoing since Friday morning.

Barhathawa Police said that trained divers have been called in from the Armed Police Force's unit in Bardibas, Mahottari, to search for the missing girl.
