By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 15: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has paid tribute to and expressed sadness over the death of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student who died in Hamas captivity.
Issuing a condolence message on Tuesday, PM Karki
said, "The Nation will never forget his sacrifice and bravery."
She shared that she was shocked to know about
Bipin's death despite collective prayers and unyielding optimism about his
release alive from captivity for the last two years. "We were optimistic
that he would return alive and contribute to nation's development."
She characterized Bipin's death as being inhumane
victim of international conflict.
Saying that Bipin showed courage, brave and sense of sacrifice before
being kept hostage that resulted in saving lives of many of his friends, the PM
said, "This brave work is his legacy, and this will keep him alive in
memory of Nepalis as symbol of Nepali glory."
