Panchthar, Oct 5: The identities of six individuals who lost their lives in a Bolero accident on Saturday in Kattike, Kummyak Rural Municipality-3, along the Tamor Corridor, have been disclosed.
The Bolero vehicle (Me 1 J 3055) was en route from Mikwakhola Rural Municipality-4, Sanwa to Dharan when it plunged approximately 300 meters off the road in Kattike, Kummyak-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Similarly, six individuals sustained injuries in the incident. According to Police Inspector Rupesh Tamang, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, the deceased include 28-year-old Manisha Karki from Urlabari Municipality-8, Morang; 29-year-old Yuna Tamang from Meringden Rural Municipality-5, Taplejung; 33-year-old Dhankumar Chongbang; 32-year-old Abhishek Limbu; 33-year-old Binod Lungwa Limbu from Meringden Rural Municipality-2; and 21-year-old Gita Hangam from Meringden Rural Municipality-4.
The police have stated that the injured individuals are receiving treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. The injured are 22-year-old Mahesh Limbu and 25-year-old Bimal Limbu from Meringden-5, 25-year-old Manu Sanwa Limbu from Mikkakhola Rural Municipality-4, 7-year-old Anish Limbu, son of Santosh Limbu from the same locality, 30-year-old Sanjohang Limbu, and 35-year-old Mahesh Guragain from Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-7, Sunsari. The police reported that the Bolero lost control and veered off to the right side of the road. (RSS)
