Education Minister Pun assumes office

Kathmandu, Sept 22: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Mahabir Pun, has assumed office. Soon after taking the oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President, Minister Pun reached the Kesharmahal-based Ministry and assumed the office.     

After assuming the office, he signed a decision to form four advisory committees related to the education, science and technology sectors.     

The committees were formed to provide advice related to space technology, nuclear technology, biotechnology, information technology and Artificial Intelligence, according to the Ministry. However, the members of these committees would be finalised later, it is said. (RSS)
