Curfew order in Lalitpur until midnight

Lalitpur, Sept 9: The District Administration Office, Lalitpur, has issued curfew order from 7:00 am today to 12:00 midnight in some areas of the Lalitpur Metropolitan City. 

Chief District Officer of Lalitpur, Suman Ghimire, issued the curfew order as per clause 6 (A) of the Local Administration Act, 2028.

As per the curfew order, all movements, gatherings, demonstrations, rallies, meetings, and picketing are strictly prohibited within the specified areas in wards no. 2, 4, 9, 18 and 25 of the Lalitpur Metropolitan City. 

Curfew order was issued in Bhainsepati, Sanepa, the CG Housing to Chhobhar gorge area, the Gayatri Petrol Pump to Bishnudevi Mandir area, the Indrayani Mandir area to Manmohan Park, the Manohara river corridor, Chyasal stadium and Malpokhari area.  

CDO Ghimire stated that the curfew order was issued to curb any untoward activities and to maintain law and order. (RSS)
