Nepal sets target of 140 runs for MRA

Kathmandu, Aug 20: Nepal has set a 140 run target against Melbourne Renegades Academy (MRA) in its fifth match under Top End T20 Series underway in the Northern Territory of Australia. 

Put to bat first after winning the toss at Darwin's Cazalys Arena Palmerston, Nepal scored 139 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 limited overs. 

Batsman Kushal Malla stroke the highest 29 runs – with one boundary and one six off 22 balls to the team. 

Likewise, Deependra Singh Airee posted 27 runs off 28 balls while Lokesh Bam made 24 off 16 balls. 

Bhim Sarki registered 17 runs while Arif Sheikh and Rupesh Singh contributed equal 12 runs to the team. 

Toward bowling, Fargus O' Neill, Lachian Wads, Kyalam Sto, and Michael Archer of Melbourne Renegades Academy took two wickets each.
