By TRN Online, Kathmandu , June 4: Nepal defeated Bhutan by 51 runs in ACC Women’s T20 Premier Cup today held at Kolej Tuanku Ja’Aar, Malaysia.
Nepal set a target of 114 runs in 20 overs. Sita Rana Magar scored 37 runs in 28 balls. Rubina Chhetri scored 24 runs in 21 balls, Sony Pakhrin scored 13 runs in 20 balls.
Chasing the target, Bhutan scored 62 runs losing its 8 wickets in 20 overs.
For Bhutan, Dechen Wangmo scored 39 runs in 60 balls, Chado Om scored 11 runs in 21 balls, Tshering Zangmo scored 5 runs in 23 balls.
Rubina Chhetri took 3 wickets and awarded player of the match. Riya Sharma took 2 wickets, Kabita Kunwar took one wicket.
For Bhutan, Sonam Choden took 3 wickets, Tshering Zangmo tok 3 wickets, Anju Gurung took 2 wickets.
