Over 24,000 people avail health service under 'Mayor with Citizens' scheme

Kanchanpur, June 4: Twenty-four thousand seven hundred and twenty-one citizens have availed of health services at their homes through the 'Mayor with Citizens' programme run by the Krishnapur Municipality here. 

Banshiraj Bhatta, head of the municipality's health department, said that the programme was conducted with the aim of providing health services easily to the residents and spreading awareness about non-communicable diseases.

Mayor Hemraj Ojha stated that doctors have been providing testing and consultation services regarding issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, vaccination status, and medication adherence.

He said that ambulance, medicine distribution, and laboratory services are being provided by an MBBS doctor working at Krishnapur Health Post. (RSS)
