UML instructs subordinate committees to send suggestions by mid-July

Kathmandu, July 4: CPN (UML) has instructed its subordinate committees to submit reports with necessary suggestions related to the organizational report for the party's statute general convention.

Rajendra Gautam, chief of the party's publicity department, said that provincial and district committees are required to send reports with written suggestions on the organizational report to be presented in the statute convention.     

"In the organizational report, the provincial and district committees are asked to submit written reports with necessary suggestions by mid-July," he stated. "The reports received with suggestions will be discussed in the central committee meeting before forwarding to the general convention."     

The UML's second statute general convention is set to take place in Godawari, Lalitpur, from September 5 to 7.     

The party has assigned Chairperson KP Sharma Oli to prepare the political report, Vice-Chairperson Bishnu Prasad Paudel to prepare the statute amendment proposal, and General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel to prepare the organizational report.(RSS)
