Sisters die after being struck by rock which fell from above alongside landslide

By Sahadev Basnet, Jajarkot, July 4: Two sisters died after being struck by a falling rock alongslide landslide, which was triggered by the incessant rainfall, at Tarpena, Kushe Rural Municipality-3, Jajarkot.

Two sisters died after being hot by a gigantic stone which fell from above alongside landslide in their home at  Tarpena, Kushe Rural Municipality-3, Jajarkot. 

According to the  Police Inspector  and information officer of the District Police Office, Jajarkot, Hari Ram Dangi, a large rock fell from above in the temporary shelter while girls were sleeping at around 9:30 PM on Thursday.

16 year old daughter of Nara Bahadur Budha Chandra Budha died on the spot while the other daugther, 20 year old Sharmila Budha, who was sleeping alongside her sister, died while being taken to the Primary Heath Post Accharni.
