One dies after being swept away by river in Kailali

By Nirajan Pariyar, Chaumala (Kailali), June 19: A man died after being swept away by a river in Gauriganga Municipality, Kailali district. 

Nara Bahadur Tamrakar, around 60 years old, of Gauriganga Municipality-2, Kailali district, died in the incident. 

Tamrakar went missing on Wednesday at 5 PM when he was swept away by the Chaumala River while returning home from the old Chaumala Bazaar.

 Assistant Sub Inspector of Police  Yogendra Balayar of the Chaumala Police Office said that the body was found in the river on Thursday morning while searching for the missing Tamrakar.

He said that the body has been sent to the Seti Provincial Hospital Dhangadhi, for postmortem.
