Nepal is beautiful, attractive destination for mountain tourism: Minister Rai

Kathmandu, June 12: Defence Minister Manbir Rai has said Nepal is a beautiful and attractive destination for mountain tourism.

Observing the photo exhibition organized by Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) under the theme 'Mountain Tourism: Our Pride, Our Identity' on the occasion of Republic Day, Minister Rai mentioned that Nepal has immense potentials for mountain tourism.  

"Nepal is very attractive from the point of view of beauty and tourism. The photos put in the expo has reflected natural beauty and potentials and there is much possibility of mountain tourism in Nepal", he opined.

The Defence Minister argued that the government has been carrying out activities in tourism promotion for the development of the country, adding climate change has had major impacts in Nepal.  

"What the RSS trying to do through organizing photo exhibition to show country's potential is for the welfare of the nation and people," he shared, adding the photos have clearly shown that there are immense potentials in Nepal.

Similarly, 40 students of Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management observed the expo today itself. 

Tashi Sherpa of the Academy said the photo exhibition organized by RSS, which has the main responsibility of disseminating news, for the publicity of natural heritages is laudable. (RSS)
