By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 7: Eid ul Adha (Bakar Eid) is being celebrated across the nation on Saturday. This is the second biggest festival for Muslims, after Ramadan or Eid-ul-Fitr. This festival is observed on the 70th day of Ramadan, and those who can afford it visit the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
During Eid-ul-Adha, Muslims perform the ritual slaughtering of animals as permitted by their religion.
