Kenya's consulate general office inaugurated

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 5: The Consulate General Office of the Republic of Kenya in Nepal has been opened.

Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Nepal, Peter Maina Munyiri, inaugurated on Monday the Kenyan consulate general office located on the fourth floor of the City Express Complex in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

At a special ceremony organized by Chandra Tandan, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kenya to Nepal, he pledged to work towards promoting trade together, as well as expanding cooperation in cultural and other diverse fields.


Earlier on that day, Ambassador and Kenya High Commissioner Peter Maina Munyiri, presented his credentials to President, Ramchandra Paudel, at the Presidential Office, Sheetal Niwas. Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kenya to Nepal, Chandra Tandan, also attended the function.
