Sudurpaschim, June 3: Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has said the investment and development summit going to be organized in Sudurpaschim Province would help in overall development of the province.
Talking briefly to media persons at Dhangadhi Airport today, Minister Rana shared that ministers who are representing in the federal government from Sudurpaschim Province have played supportive role for the Summit.
"Many investors have shown their interest to invest in Nepal. We have been creating environment conducive for investment by reforming some rules and laws for the same," she opined, adding Sudurpaschim province has immense potentials for investment.
Responding a query about the release of Bipin Joshi of Kanchanpur from Hamas' captivity in Gaza, the Foreign Minister mentioned,"Efforts were made from the side of the Ministry, Foreign Minister of Iran talked with Hamas about the Bipin Joshi's release and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli talked with Egypt, but Joshi's whereabouts are still unknown and let's hope he is fine."
The Foreign Minister arrived here today to participate in the preparation of the pre-investment and development summit scheduled for September 17 and 18. The pre-investment and development summit is taking place from today.
The Summit is going to be organized with an objective of achieving transformative economic prosperity by exploring potentials of natural resources, cultural heritages and economic development of the Province.
The Summit has the target of creating opportunity of employment making partnership between government, private sector and cooperative sector strong.(RSS)
