Online, Kathmandu, June 3: CPN (Maoist Center) has started its Newa-Tamang
Valley Awareness Campaign from today.
Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' inaugurated the month-long Campaign, addressing a public gathering at Chandragiri-4 today.
Speaking at the programme, Chairman Prachanda said that the Maoist party was for a socialist system with Nepali characteristics.
"Through holding meeting and serious analysis, we have emerged refined in thoughts with realization that we have made a lot of errors and mistakes, and we must reform ourselves for talking revolution to a new phase," he said.
He also directed the party activists to listen to the people more than to talk to them. "Our campaign is for listening to the families of the martyrs, disappeared fighters, wounded fighters, common people like farmers, workers and all. Not only tell them our stories, ideas, but also listen to them, their stories, ideas."
