Three year old dies after being hit by school bus in Kapilvastu

By Narad Kohar, Taulihawa (Kapilvastu), June 3: A three-year-old girl died after being hit by a school bus in Shihokhor, Yasodhara Rural Municipality -8 of the district. 

The school bus of Jamiya Ahle Sunnat Najiya School, en route to Maharajgunj, hit the 3-year-old girl at 8:15 AM today.

"The deceased has been identified as Pratima Barai, the three-year-old daughter of Shivaratan Barai," said Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Kapilvastu, Niranjan Dutta Bhatta.

He said that the girl, who was seriously injured in the accident, died in the course of treatment at Kapilvastu Hospital. 

The bus is under police control, and a search is underway for the driver.
