By Nanda Singha, Simkot, April 22: Due to the protest of teachers study in Humla's schools has been affected.

Teachers have been staging a protest for 21 days.

Humla teachers are continuing the demonstration to support Kathmandu Kathmandu-centred strike of teachers.

Namkha Rural Municipality - 4, Mahabauddha Secondary School's 10th-grade student Satya Budha said that students' studies have been affected due to the teachers' protest.

Teachers went to the district headquarters to stage a protest, leaving the classroom.

Student Budha expressed her dissatisfaction, saying that students become victims of the teachers' demonstration.

"Instead of solving students' problems, teachers staging a protest hampers students' future." She said, "Stakeholders and teachers should understand students' problems."

Nepal Teacher Association's central Deputy-General Secretary Kali Bahadur Shahi informed that due to the teachers' strike, teaching in the district has completely stopped.

Due to the strike, Humla's 118 basic and 28 Secondary schools' more than 20,000 students have been affected, said Education Development and Coordination Unit's Chief Yogesh Ale Magar.
