Kathmandu, April 9: The 11th summit of the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) and of the health and population scientists is to be held here starting Thursday.
Acting Secretary at NHRC, Dr Pramod Joshi, shared the information that the preparation for the summit had been over. The summit has aimed at promoting policy and lawmaking based on research on health and population, and fostering collaboration between scientific researchers and policy makers.
There will be 87 verbal presentations while 115 poster presentation in the event to be attended by over 100 experts from various countries from Nepal, India, China, the UK, Switzerland, Germany and the US.
The discussion in the event would help make development works based on cooperation, Dr Joshi added.
The summit will continue till April 12.(RSS)
