Kathmandu, March 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that works are going on under the Mahakali Corridor to link Lipulek Limpiyadhura with the road connectivity.
In his response to a query from legislator Binita Kathayat, he said the construction of a 43-kilomter road section from Darchula to Tusharpani is underway for the Brhamadev-Jhulaghat-Darchula-Tinker connectivity.
The construction of around 7 9kilometers' track from Tusharpani to Tinker point is being undertaken by the Nepal Army and so far around 12 kilometers of a track has been opened. The remaining works will complete soon, he said.
He further said that the government is effortful to deliver quality health services for the citizens of Karnali through the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.
In his replies to a question from Bimala Subedi, he said the government is sensitive about the matter of concluding the remaining task of the peace process soon with the appointments of office bearers at the Commission on the Enforced Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission soon.
"The government is sensitive about the urgency to ensure transitional justice," he said, recalling of the third amendment to the relevant acts.
He briefed the House that a process has been initiated to mobilise the private sector in the operation and management of the Bancharedanda Sanitary Landfill Site that lies along the border of Nuwakot and Dhading district. The project will be implanted by the local level under the public private partnership, he added. (RSS)
