Dr Bhattarai focuses on rapid economic development

Patan (Lalitpur), Jan 11: Coordinator of Nepal Socialist Party (Naya Shakti) and former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has emphasized on the need to make rapid economic development the main issue in the country.     

At the first Mahalakshmi Urban Gathering organized by the party's district coordination committee Lalitpur today, he said that the upliftment of the poor and needy is the next need, and for that, economic development should be given priority.     

"Constitution and laws were written after the rebellion phase, now we should start making the country self-reliant by creating jobs, modernizing agriculture, increasing production through domestic industry", Bhattarai said.(RSS)
