Soltini’s shooting begins

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Jan. 9: The shooting of the film ‘Soltini’ has begun.  Directed by Arjun Subedi, the film is scheduled to be completed in 31 days. 

 Director Subedi said that the shooting began with the auspicious Muhurta, which was held at Sano Pathibhara Temple in Rong, Ilam, on Tuesday.

Actor Prakash Saput, actresses Parikshya Limbu and Sabbu Gurung, and artist Sundar Dhital gave the first and most important shot for the film on the temple premises.

 The film will be shot in Ilam and Bhojpur. The film has a large presence of popular actors including Prakash Saput, Wilson Bikram Rai, Parikshya Limbu, Sabbu Gurung, Rabindra Jha, Prakash Ghimire, Prem Subba, Kabita Ale, Sundar Dhital and Sujan Khatiwada. 

According to the film unit, Saput will play the lead role of ‘Bhimsen Pokharel’ and Limbu will play the lead role of ‘Dilasa Rai’. 

This is the first time that the pair will be seen together on screen.

According to the film unit, the film will raise its voice against the inhumanity and caste discrimination prevalent in society. In addition, the love story between the two main characters will also be its main attraction.

The music of the film will be handled by Prashant Siwakoti and Hercules Basnet, while the cinematography will be done by Sushan Prajapati.

 Presented by Planet 3 Films and produced in collaboration with Nepcine and Yolo Entertainment, the film is produced by Rejina Bista and Sansar Chaulagain. 

The film is targeted to be released on Constitution Day on September 19.
