Cooperation agreement signed between universities of Nepal and China

Kathmandu, Dec.30: The Lumbini Buddhist University and Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) have signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. 

Prof. Dr Subarna Lal Bajracharya, the Vice Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University, and Pang Fong, President of Beijing Language and Culture University, exchanged a memorandum of understanding in a program held today at the official residence of the PM, Baluwatar. 

According to the agreement, there will be an exchange of culture, language teaching, and research activities. Nepal Institute will be established in Beijing and China Institute will be established in Lumbini. 

On this occasion, Prime Minister and also, the Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University Oli expressed his happiness at the expansion of academic and educational relations and cooperation between the two countries, mentioning that Nepal and China have had people-to-people relations for a long time.
