50 per cent discount to student, senior citizen and differently abled visiting Dharahara

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 23: Student, senior citizen and differently-abled people will get 50 per cent discount to visit Dharahara. 

The fee for visiting Dharahara has been fixed Rs 200 for general people.

According to the Ministry of Urban Development, student, senior and differently will get 50 per cent concession in visiting Dharahara.

The interim fee approved from the cabinet on Thursday will get  implement from November 23.

The fee which was purposed by the Ministry of Urban Development for visitors of SAARC nations has been fixed Rs 500 and visitors other than SAARC will be charged Rs 1000. 

The Ministry has fixed Rs 20 per hour for four wheeler and Rs 10 for two wheeler. 

The fee for entering the Dharahara area is Rs 50. 

Similarly, advertisement fee of national interest in Dharahara is Rs 5000 per hour. The advertisement fee of commercial video display is Rs 5000 per hour and for photography it will be Rs 1000 per hour.
