One dies, two taken ill after consuming wild mushroom
Bharatpur, May 15: A child died after consuming wild mushroom in Chitwan district today. The victim was 6-year-old Namuna Chepang.
Namuna and her family members had eaten a curry made of wild mushroom on Tuesday evening. She was a Grader II student at the Rastriya Secondary School, Hattibang. Sajan Chepang and Manita Chepang were also taken ill after consuming the wild mushroom.
Namuna's lifeless body has been brought at Bharatpur Hospital for postmortem, Chitwan.
After the villagers got information about the tragic incident on Friday morning, they brought Sajan and Manita to the hospital for treatment, said School Principal, Lok Bahadur Magar. (RSS)
