One who asks me never to panic,
And comes close to me,
Sometimes teases, sometimes scolds,
Sometimes makes me shy and laugh.
Is this a gift from God to me,
Or just a sudden dream of the night?
Saying, "Never panic"
You come close to me ,
When I'm scared, you say, "I’m here,"
You give me comfort,
When I lose my way,
You shout as if you're my own.
But who are you, after all?
We met on the road,
But we’ll part ways at the crossroads,
Our paths were slightly different,
Yours uphill,
Mine downhill,
Yet you say, "Walk slowly, you might stumble."
But who are you, after all?
When my heart is full of pain,
You come as a pain relief balm,
In this unbearable heat,
You provide a winter shade,
When tears flow from my heart like a stream,
You say, "I’m here," and ease my burden,
You are with me in my heart
Yet not with me always,
But who are you, after all?
In this selfish world,
Why did you come to care my desires?
Why did you come to decorate my life,
Is this a joy for just a few days?
Or it’s for a year of togetherness.
Who are you?
Are you a man, a woman,
A flower, or a spike?
Who are you, after all?
