By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Sept. 28: After the success of the first Nepal Adventure Expo, AR Ventures is organising the second edition of the expo in Kathmandu on Saturday.

Sonam Zangbu Sherpa, the organiser of the event, said that the explorers could search for branded goods for adventure activities in the one-day expo.

They have a plan to exhibit 50 stalls and have expected more than 2,500 visitors.

He said that the programme aims to promote the physical, cultural and natural beauty of Nepal by exhibiting branded domestic and foreign goods used in hiking, trekking, mountain climbing and other various adventure tourism activities.

"People loved our previous expo which encouraged us to organise this second expo," Sherpa said. Good of more than 100 brands will be displayed, he added.

"A huge number of domestic and international tourists visited our expo last time," he said.

Ajay Narsingh Rana, founder of AR Ventures, said that they organised a bicycle expo in 2021 with their decade-long expertise in organising adventure sports in Nepal.

"The unique expo serves as a special platform for manufacturers, distributors and service providers within the bicycle industry now," he said. “The success also inspired us to expand the horizons in the adventure sector.”

He also said the 'Nepal Adventure Expo' was an annual event to attract adventure lovers, travellers and industrialists.

“It is an exclusive event to showcase the latest and greatest products, services and experiences related to adventure sports, travel destinations, camping gear, outdoor equipment, extreme sports and wellness,” he added. With the Nepali festival Dashain and Tihar holidays starting in October when travellers love to embark on various adventure packages, we have organised this, he said.

According to him, customers find their destinations, clothes, accessories and other related goods in one place for outdoor activities at the expo.
