Speaking at the event on Wednesday, Singh emphasised that since assuming office on June 7, he has focused on implementing an action plan aimed at social transformation. This plan incorporates innovative thinking and unwavering integrity, ensuring a comprehensive approach to governance.

Despite challenges posed by law enforcement issues and the lack of urgent provincial laws, Singh has committed to expediting administrative reforms to foster prosperity and self-sufficiency in Madhes.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence in achieving sustainable peace and a robust provincial economy through multifaceted initiatives. “We are committed to result-oriented work that promotes social justice and equality,” he said.

To support this vision, Singh has signed a performance agreement with members of the provincial council of ministers, outlining specific programme activities and implementation timelines.

In a bid to enhance governance efficiency, Singh has appointed skilled business professionals to the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission. This move aims to accelerate the drafting of bills, procedures, and guidelines necessary for urgent legislation. He also announced that the cabinet has granted permission for the Madhes Institute of Health Sciences to conduct an MBBS programme, with the Medical Services Commission approving 50 seats for this academic year.

Moreover, plans are underway for the development of educational parks in Dhanusha and Siraha, designed to improve educational quality across the province. The Chief Minister also outlined an integrated agricultural development project that seeks to mobilize women volunteers in agriculture, aimed at promoting overall agricultural growth in Madhes over the next 100 days.

Singh provided updates on the conceptual framework for the International Ramzan Cricket Stadium in Janakpurdham, which is in the planning stages. He mentioned ongoing efforts to clear encroached forest areas and initiate reforestation projects throughout the province.

Additionally, the Chief Minister reported that four hospitals transferred under the Madhes province government are nearing operational readiness. He highlighted progress in developing procedures and guidelines to enhance social security within the health sector. Finally, he announced plans for transparent distribution of conditional grants, allocating Rs. 17.5 million to each metropolitan city, Rs. 12.5 million to sub-metropolitan cities, Rs. 9.5 million to municipalities, and Rs. 8 million to rural municipalities. Singh's vision is to ensure that these resources foster balanced growth and equitable development across the Madhes Province.
