Helicopter carrying newly-delivered mother makes emergency landing

By Raju Lamichhane, Rukum Pashchim, Sept 1: A helicopter carrying a newly-delivered mother to the hospital made an emergency landing at Aathbiskot in Rukum West on Sunday.

With call sign 9A066 helicopter heading from Dolpa made an emergency landing at the Stadium of Aathbiskot Municipality -9, Radi.

According to the District Police Office Rukum Pashchim DSP Nawaraj Pokharel, the chopper was carrying Padmi Kumari Budha of Tripura Sundari Municipality of Dolpa to Surkhet. 

After the delivery case, Budha was being carried to Surkhet via chopper following excessive bleeding and further health complications.

After the emergency landing at the Stadium, the health workers from Aathbiskot Municipality are providing services to Budha at the field.
