Nepali student found shot dead in Texas

By Krishna Raj Khanal, Texas (USA), Aug. 28: A 21-year-old Nepali student Muna Pandey studying in Houston was shot dead in her apartment in Houston, Texas, on Monday evening.

She has suffered several bullet wounds to her chest.  Pandey was living alone in an apartment where she was found shot dead.  

According to the Police, the search for the suspect is underway. 

It is said that Pandey was pronounced dead on the spot by the medical doctors who came by ambulance. The apartment staff had called an ambulance after they came to know about the incident. 

Police have urged anyone who has any knowledge about the incident to come forward. 

Pandey, who arrived in the USA in the year 2021, was studying bachelor's in Houston Community College. 

She was in a relationship with a white guy, per the local newspaper that quoted the family source. 

The mother of the deceased Anita Pandey has requested the Nepali community to find the killer. 

The deceased is originally from Bhojpur.
