Tanahun bus accident update: Death toll reaches 19

By Amar Raj Naharki, Tanahun, Aug 23: The death toll in the Tanahun Indian Bus accident has reached 19.

According to District Police Office Tanahun DSP Deepak Kumar Rai, a total of 43 people were in the Bus, out of three were bus staff. 

Police said that all the passengers were from the Maharastra. Injured 18 were sent to Aanbookhaireni for treatment.   

An Indian bus heading towards Kathmandu from Pokhara plunged into Marsyangdi River on Friday Morning from near Ainpahara of Aanbookhaireni under the Prithvi Highway.
