Singer Amrit Gurung noticed someone in the front waving a Nepali national flag. He walked straight ahead, grabbed the flag, draped it over himself first, and then covered the rest of the band members with it. The sight filled the hundreds of audience with enthusiasm and joy.

“Stay happy like this,” Amrit said, waving his hand in farewell. “Keep preserving the Nepali language and identity.”

The doors to the hall were opened at exactly 7:00 PM, as scheduled, on Saturday evening, and precisely at 9:00 PM, Amrit entered the hall to the tunes played by the instrumentalists and began singing “Kosiko Pani Yo Jindagani.”
