Kathmandu, Aug 6: Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister, Prakash Man Singh has said the formation of the incumbent government aims to accelerate the pace of development in the country.
Talking to the media at the
Ministry today, he said the trend of frequent government change was
disappointing for the citizens and the two major political parties decided to
form a new political equation to send a positive wave of political stability to
them. He added the government is convinced that it should deliver, keeping the
citizens at first.
On a different note, he admitted
that rigorous efforts are needed to address issues concerning the urban area
and settlement, pledging to deliver visible actions including policy reforms
towards that end. He assured of effective waste management and management of
public areas, roads, and transport sectors as well.
On the occasion, Ministry
officiating secretary Padhma Kumar Mainali briefed the Minister on progress so
