By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 18: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that he is confident that he will garner a vote of confidence for the fourth time too.
Addressing the book release program organized at the CPN (Maoist Center) Central Party Office Perishdanda on Saturday, PM Prachanda mentioned seeking the vote of confidence again on May 20 and said that he will secure the vote of confidence no matter how many times it needs to be taken. He urged to not worry about not securing a vote of confidence.
PM Prachanda “I have sent the letter to the Federal Parliament secretariat to seek a vote of confidence on May 20. A vote of confidence is scheduled for May 20. A congress leader made a statement that in this situation the vote of confidence needs to be taken up to 13 times but I am assured that I will secure the vote of confidence no matter how many times it is taken. It may look like a vote of confidence needs to be taken many more times but I will secure it. The number of votes might be up and down but a vote of confidence will be secure. So, do not worry about it. One time I was getting full 100 per cent votes, so this time also, I am not in a dilemma so you also get out of your dilemma.”
The PM said, “The parliament is at a deadlock due to a subject related to saving cooperatives. I am doing continuous meetings and discussions with the opposition party too. The discussion is being held for the solution. I am hoping this will see some conclusion by Sunday morning. I believe it will happen. This will ease the process of passing the policies and programmes and will make it easy to garner a vote of confidence as well."
