Legitimate judicial system maintains good governance: President Paudel

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 17: President Ramchandra Paudel said that good governance and peace can be maintained in the country through a legitimate judicial system.

Inaugurating the three-day conference organized under the banner of 'Competent lawyers, decent bar: Restructuring of the judiciary is the basis for strengthening democracy' on Friday, President Paudel said that a legitimate system is a solution for maintaining good governance and peace in the country. 

President Paudel said, “In the democratic system of governance, legitimation is the only solution and remedy for all kinds of anarchy and injustice. We should not forget that good governance and peace can be maintained only through the legal judicial system.” 


He said, “Justice should be felt not only talked about topic. Justice should be seen, heard, understood and felt. The constitutional arrangement directs to be alert for a legitimate system, democracy, human rights, freedom of press and expressions, power decentralization, democracy, competent justice, lawful state and basic rights, and the safeguarding guard in true sense are those associated in the Nepal Bar Association.”
