Climate change effects to be minimized

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 14: The government has come up with a policy and programmes to mitigate the effects of climate change. 

Unveiling the government policy and programs for the upcoming fiscal year of 2081, 82 BS at the joint meeting of the federal parliament President Ramchandra Paudel said that pollution control measures will be made effective.

Pollution control and environmental standards will be seriously maintained. The effect of climate change on the environment will be brought to light in the international forums.

The effect of climate change will be reduced through diplomatic channels seeking financial aid for those affected by climate change.
