Corruption case against Foreign Employment Department accountant
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr 1: A corruption case
of Rs 15,000 has been filed against the accountant of the Foreign Employment Department,
Tahachal, Kathmandu, Pramod Niraula.
According to Narahari Ghimire, Spokesperson of
the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), it has been
proved that Niraula had taken the money by demanding from the service receiver for the purpose of returning the money kept by the service receiver as a safety deposit.
CIAA has filed a charge sheet in the Special Court, Kathmandu,
demanding a fine as per the crime committed under section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption
Act, 2059 (2002 AD).
