3rd Nepal International Theatre Festival in March next year

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 29: The 3rd Nepal International Theatre Festival is scheduled to be held from March 16 to 27 in 2025. 

Mandala Theatre announced the third edition of the festival a year ago during an event held on the occasion of World Theatre Day 2024 at Mandala Theatre on Wednesday.

The upcoming theatre festival will revolve around the theme of ‘Theatre for Social Transformation: Light of Indigenous Wisdom’. 

Mandala Theatre plans to open the call for drama submissions from April this year. 

Speaking at the programme, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Hit Bahadur Tamang said that the government is planning to include theatre in the new cultural policy, emphasising his strong commitment to promoting and developing the theatre.
