Govt slams terrorist attack in Moscow concert

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 24: The government has said that it was shocked by the terrorist attacks during a musical concert in Moscow on Friday resulting in the loss of precious lives and injuries to many innocent people The government of Nepal extends heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the people and government of Russian Federation as well as the victims and their families, read a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday.

"The government of Nepal, in line with its principled position unequivocally condemns the terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and holds the view that terrorism must be firmly and resolutely dealt with wherever and whenever takes place," read the statement. 

The government has also wished speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks. 

At least 133 people were killed and more than 140 injured when gunmen attacked a packed concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow as reported by international media.
