Nepal Chamber Expo from March 7

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 4: The seventh edition of "Nepal Chamber Expo 2024" is going to be held in March in Kathmandu. Nepal Chamber of Commerce is organising the expo from March 7 to 11 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu to promote and market local products and increase businesses.

According to NCC, agricultural products, products of small and domestic industries and handicrafts will be exhibited at the expo.

The real estate business, food and beverages, clothing, textbooks, vehicles, construction materials, electrical equipment and other consumables will also be displayed at the fair.

Speaking at a press conference organised here on Sunday, the President of NCC, Rajendra Malla, said that the expo was being organised to promote the market of locally produced items, including agriculture and handicrafts and to expand the economic activities of small businessmen.

The Chamber Expo is going to be held in collaboration with the Trade and Export Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

There will be more than 160 stalls of national and international companies in the exhibition, read the press statement. South Korea is the focus country of the expo. The main objective of the expo is to integrate the commercial sectors with special emphasis on the marketing of Nepali products, said Malla.

He said that the direct participation of the regional and international business community will help to closely observe the economic activities taking place in the international arena, the use of new technologies and the new dimensions of business management.

The commercial branches of Bangladesh, Russia and Malaysia in Nepal will also participate in the exhibition. Businessmen from Bangladesh, India, South Korea and Pakistan will also participate in the exhibition, Malla said.
