Kathmandu Mar 3: The domestic flights have been affected by the adverse weather on Sunday.
Due to bad weather flights scheduled for Lukla and Phaplu of Solukhumbu were affected
According to the spokesperson of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Subhas Jha, flights in the hilly region of Lukla and Phaplu were affected due to low visibility. He, however, said that it is running smoothly in the TIA.
Jha said that the cancellation of flights has impacted the travel of tourists.
According to a Meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division Pratibha Manandhar, light rainfall is experienced in all provinces except Koshi and Madhesh.
Meteorologist Manandhar added that the rainfall is expected to last till Sunday evening in the five provinces. She further added that the weather will be cleared from Monday morning.
