By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Jan. 11: The rap song reality show ‘Rap Battle Nepal’ is set to be held from April.
Organising a press conference in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the organisers Youzeesa International and Rajya Media Network officially announced the rap singing reality show.
The organisers informed that the show will be aired on AP1 Television from April.
Sanu Khan, Executive Director of Youzeesa International, said that the auditions for the show will begin in February.
He informed that the judging panel will include musicians from both the Nepali and Bollywood music industries.
Saroj Ojha, Chairman of Rajya Media Network, said that the show aims to create an environment for diverse audiences, including the youth, to enjoy the musical atmosphere.
The auditions will take place in various locations, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Jhapa, Itahari, and Chitwan within Nepal, as well as in Darjeeling, Siliguri, and Sikkim in India.
Devil Singh Rajput, the event director, said that auditions are scheduled for February 8 in Darjeeling, February 10 in Sikkim, and February 12 in Siliguri in India.
Likewise, Nepal auditions will begin on February 14 in Jhapa, followed by February 17 in Itahari, February 21 in Chitwan, February 24 in Pokhara, and March 1 and 2 in Kathmandu.
Rajput also informed that digital auditions will be organised for Nepali speakers living around the world.
