Kathmandu, May 10: The Kathmandu Valley in the past 24 hours recorded 1,854 cases of traffic violations. As a result, revenue of Rs 0.48 million has been collected as fines from the violators of traffic rules.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police, such cases recorded till this morning include 125 of drunk-driving, 166 of ride-sharing against the rule, 179 of the violation of traffic signals and 171 of over-speed driving.
Likewise, 27 incidences of breaching the lane disciplines, 104 cases are related to honking in prohibited areas, 66 of parking on roadsides and pavements, 112 violations are related to driving on one-way route and 1,904 of other traffic-related violations. (RSS)
