Patan High Court orders former ministers Khand, Raymajhi to remain in custody

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 1: Patan High Court today ordered former Home Minister Balkrishna Khand and former minister Top Bahadur Raymajhi to remain in custody on Fake Bhutanese Refugee Scam.

A joint bench of justices Janak Pande and Prakash Kharel ordered former ministers to remain in custody. 

Upholding the order of the district court, the high court ordered that Tek Narayan Pande, Dr Indra Jeet Rai, Keshab Prasad Dulal, Sanu Bhandari, Sagar Rai, Govinda Kumar Chaudhari, Sandesh Sharma and Angtawa Sherpa, along with the former ministers, be kept in custody.

However, the High Court ordered Samsher Miya, Aashish Budhathoki, Sandip Raymajhi, Tek Narayan Rijal, Tanka Kumar Gurung, Keshab Tuladhar and Ram Sharan KC, who were also charged with involvement in the same case, to be released on bail.
