Association expresses grief over Thapa's demise

Kathmandu, Aug 5 :  All Nepal Intellectuals Association has expressed grief over the passing away of its central member Babita Thapa.     

In a condolence message released today, Association's Central Chairperson Prof Dr Shreedhar Gautam said, "The late Thapa was sincere and dedicated to the norms and values of the Association and its campaign of exchanging academic knowledge and process through different means".     

Prof Dr Gautam said her untimely demise was an irreparable loss to the Association and intellectuals' movement in Nepal.     

Thapa, originally from Arghakhanchi district, breathed her last on July 31. She has been afflicting from kidney related complications. (RSS)
